What is TangoPartner?

We index hundreds of upcoming tango festivals, marathons, and encuentros around the world — from Buenos Aires to Tokyo, from small Baltic-coast marathons to ten-day European festivals with international maestros. Every event includes the dates, the location, and (where we have it) the lineup of teachers, the workshop schedule, and a one-line description so you can decide quickly whether it's your kind of event.

Beyond the directory, TangoPartner lets dancers signal that they're going to a specific event and are looking for a partner — for the festival itself, for the trip there, or for specific milongas. If you're traveling alone to a marathon and don't want to risk arriving without anyone to dance with, this is where you announce it.

How it works

1. Browse events. Filter by month, country, or type (festival / marathon / encuentro) until you find an event that fits your travel plans and dance level.
2. Pin the event. One tap to put yourself on the event's board, telling other dancers you're going and you're looking for a partner. Add a short note about your level, your style, what you're hoping for.
3. Message and meet. Other dancers can see your pin and message you directly. No public profiles, no algorithms — just dancers signaling intent before they travel.

Why we built this

Tango is a partner dance, but most event websites are built for organisers, not for the dancers who attend. They'll tell you the schedule and the price, but they won't help you figure out if anyone you know is going, or whether you'll have someone to dance with on Friday night. TangoPartner solves that piece: it's a single place to see what's happening and who else is going.
