Privacy Policy

When you use TangoPartner we collect:

• Account data — your email address, provided when you sign up via magic link or Google OAuth.
• Profile data — your display name, dance role, level, home city, and any description you choose to add.
• Pins — the partner-search posts you create, including city, dates, and your note.
• Messages — private messages you send to or receive from other users through the platform.
• Usage data — standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) collected automatically.

We do not collect payment information, phone numbers, or physical addresses.

• To provide and operate the TangoPartner service.
• To display your profile and pins to other users on the board.
• To deliver private messages between users.
• To authenticate you securely when you sign in.
• To improve the service and fix technical issues.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your data for advertising.

We share your data only with the services required to operate TangoPartner:

• Supabase (database & authentication) — EU region.
• Vercel (hosting) — data processed in the EU/US.
• Google — if you sign in with Google, subject to Google's privacy policy.

We do not share your data with any third party for marketing, analytics resale, or any other commercial purpose.

• Pins expire automatically (based on the expiry date you set, or one day after the event ends).
• Private messages are retained as long as your account exists.
• Your profile and account data are retained until you request deletion.

If you are in the EU/EEA, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data.
• Object to or restrict processing.
• Data portability.
• Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
