1. Acceptance

By accessing or using TangoPartner you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. TangoPartner is operated by Rigstone Capital UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Berlin, Germany.

2. The service

TangoPartner is a community bulletin board for tango dancers to find practice partners, visiting dancers, and event companions. The service is provided free of charge. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue it at any time without notice.

3. Your account

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials.
  • You must be at least 16 years old to use TangoPartner.
  • One account per person. You may not create accounts on behalf of others.

4. Acceptable use

When using TangoPartner you agree not to:

  • Post false, misleading, or deceptive content.
  • Harass, threaten, or intimidate other users.
  • Use the platform for any commercial solicitation, spam, or advertising.
  • Attempt to access other users' accounts or private messages without authorisation.
  • Post content that is unlawful, defamatory, or violates the rights of others.
  • Use automated tools to scrape or bulk-collect data from the platform.

TangoPartner is a community space built on mutual respect. Treat fellow dancers as you would on the dance floor.

5. Content you post

You retain ownership of content you post (pins, messages, profile information). By posting, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display that content as part of operating the service. Pins expire automatically and are deleted at expiry. You may delete your own content at any time.

6. Private messages

Messages sent through TangoPartner are private between sender and recipient. We do not read your messages except where required by law or to investigate a reported abuse. We are not responsible for the content of messages between users.

7. Events data

Event listings on TangoPartner are sourced from publicly available information and third-party databases. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of event data. Always verify event details directly with the organiser.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at legal@tangopartner.com.

9. Limitation of liability

TangoPartner is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including damages arising from interactions with other users arranged through the platform. Our total liability shall not exceed €100. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for gross negligence or wilful misconduct.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Berlin, Germany. If you are a consumer in the EU, you retain the benefit of any mandatory protections provided by the law of your country of residence.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified on the platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
