Días de Luz y Sonrisas Encuentro Milonguero

Días de Luz y Sonrisas is an intimate, invitation-only encuentro milonguero set inside the stunning Szidónia Castle Hotel in Röjtökmuzsaj, Hungary. Taking place December 17–20, 2026 — the final weekend of Advent — the event welcomes just 90 carefully balanced leaders and followers for four days of close-embrace tango, warmth, and understated luxury.

The program features 3+1 milongas totalling 19 hours of dancing on a perfect wooden floor, all guided by mirada/cabeceo and full respect for the códigos. A very special highlight is a live concert by Orquesta Típica ViTa MusicA from Vienna, gifted to dancers on Friday evening. Four internationally acclaimed DJs — Jožica Leskovšek (SLO), Levente Pálffy (HU), Ken Brown (USA), and Tomaž Leskovšek (SLO) — curate the musical journey throughout the weekend.

Beyond the dance floor, guests enjoy elegant buffet and gala dinners with optional wine tasting, rich breakfasts, and full use of the Szidónia Vital Bathhouse. The entire castle is reserved exclusively for event participants, creating a truly private and festive atmosphere. A Saturday morning Body Awakening Session with Erika rounds out the holistic experience.

Staying at the hotel is mandatory, and priority is given to couples sharing a room, as only 45 rooms are available. Registration is by approval only — this is a curated community of dancers who cherish connection, embrace, and the magic of tango just before Christmas.
