Imperial Tango Marathon Annecy

The Imperial Tango Marathon Annecy – 2nd edition – brings together tango dancers from across Europe for an immersive weekend of milonga dancing in one of the most breathtaking settings imaginable. The event takes place at the Centre de Congrès Impérial – Grand Annecy, a historic landmark venue nestled on the shores of Lake Annecy, surrounded by the majestic peaks of the Alps.

The dance floor is a magnificent 500 m² parquet hall offering exceptional glide and comfort, accompanied by a 250 m² foyer for brunches, dinners, and snacks. Seven carefully curated DJs from Belgium, France, Italy, and Brazil will guide dancers through sets running from Friday evening all the way through Sunday afternoon, ensuring a rich and varied musical journey across the weekend.

Annecy itself — often called the 'Venice of the Alps' — is a jewel of a destination, with its cobbled medieval streets, shimmering canals, colourful houses, and a stunning lakeside setting framed by snow-capped mountains. The venue, hotels, and train station are all conveniently located within the same area, making travel straightforward whether you arrive by TGV from Paris, from Geneva Airport (35 minutes away), or by bus from across Europe.
