Mediterranean Summer Tango Festival

The Mediterranean Summer Tango Festival has been one of Europe's most beloved tango gatherings for over a decade, drawing dancers from around the world to the sun-drenched Istrian coast of Croatia. Set in Poreč from June 24–29, 2026, the festival combines world-class instruction with an infectious summer atmosphere that keeps tangueros returning year after year.

At the heart of the festival is its extraordinary main dance floor — hundreds of square meters of sprung wooden flooring engineered for perfect friction and softness, paired with a sound system designed to let you hear tango the way it was meant to be heard. Many attendees call it the finest milonga environment in the world. Evening milongas run deep into the night, while daily open-air pool milongas at Hotel Rubin give afternoons a warm, carefree energy.

Workshops are held in air-conditioned rooms under the guidance of internationally acclaimed maestros, carefully selected to elevate your social dancing. Beyond the dance floor, the festival offers an Arts and Wine Tour through Istria's stunning inland vineyards and hilltop towns — Croatia's very own Tuscany — and the legendary six-hour Boat Trip, featuring 200 dancers, a floating dance floor, cocktails, and summer hits.
