NEO IMMERSION — 1st edition
NEO IMMERSION is Berlin's Neo Tango Marathon, and quite possibly the first neo tango marathon held inside a church. For its first edition, about 30 hours of neo, non-tango and contemporary music fill the Heilandskirche in Moabit, played by six international DJs on a specially installed wooden floor.

The marathon runs Friday 9 to Sunday 11 April 2027, with a pre-marathon NEOLONGA on Thursday 8 April. Milongas run Friday 20:00–03:00, Saturday 15:00–03:00 and Sunday 15:00–02:00, with workshops by Kathi & Sebastian (Tangoscape) on Saturday and Sunday early afternoon.
The DJ team is deliberately small, so each DJ plays longer sets: Jean-Marc (Switzerland, also VJ and light designer), Beata (Poland), Thierry (France), Alison (USA), Gökhan (Berlin) and Kris of TangoVida, the organiser. A custom light and sound concept is built for the church's long reverb.
Two shared brunches and two dinners are part of the weekend. Registration opened on 30 August 2026.
