Scaccia Tango Marathon

Now in its sixth edition, Scaccia Tango Marathon invites dancers from around the world to the sun-drenched heart of Sicily. Set at the welcoming 4-star Villa Orchidea Resort in Comiso — just minutes from the local airport — the marathon offers a rare combination of comfort, warmth, and non-stop tango in a truly immersive setting.

The event runs from Friday 11 to Sunday 13 September 2026, featuring six milongas across three days with themed dress codes (Black & White, Black & Red, and the beloved Sicilian Style Despedida). Six celebrated TDJs — Dulce Cappiello, Elvira Elektra, Madia Annese, Enrique Ramirez, Salvo Foti, and Maurizio Nicastro — will curate the dance floor from afternoon to the early hours.

Everything you need is within steps: comfortable hotel rooms, a spacious ballroom, a shaded grove for afternoon milongas, a pool, restaurant, and social dinners with generous buffets. Sunday's Despedida features a traditional Sicilian aperitif with local specialties including scacce ragusane, cassatelle, and warm ricotta.
