Taboe Tango Camp is a six-day residential tango camp in the woods near Austerlitz, Netherlands, run by Paras & Paul of Tango Atelier. Sixty-plus workshops, nine teachers, nightly milongas, sharing circles and tango rituals — and everyone pays the same price and picks what to join.

The winter 2026 camp runs 29 December to 3 January, so you dance into the new year in the forest. The theme is "Transition: moving through change" — how we meet and separate, how we move, and how we respond to changes in the music.
Teachers include Natalia Agüero & Agustín Ventorino, Maria Filali, Mariano Laplume, Sebastian & Sara, Paras & Paul, Femke and Andras. Around 14 workshops a day run in parallel, alongside Yin Yoga, voice improvisation and massage. A pre-camp seminar with Natalia & Agustín runs on 28 December.
You sleep in simple dormitories at the Paasheuvelgroep venue, with breakfast made by the team. The camp is role-balanced, with a genuine double-role option. Its name is the Dutch word for taboo, a nod to breaking rigid rules about the "right" way to dance.
